Details\n\nRotary International President Shekhar Mehta has challenged Rot
ary club members and clubs around the world to host a Rotary Day of Servic
e event while celebrating the 51st Earth Day. Rotary District 5150 is hold
ing a Day of Service on April 9\, 2022 in THREE locations in the Bay Area.
\n\nIn each of the three counties we serve\, we will host different activi
ties to raise awareness of environmental challenges and provide solutions
to meet those challenges:\n\n\n Hands-on service projects\n Protecting the
Environment Fair: organizations and exhibitors showcasing environmental -
related initiatives and products\n Electric vehicle expo\n\n\n \n\n\nLocat
ions\n\nChildren'\;s Island / Lagoon Park -- San Rafael /Marin County\n
\nHelp us with landscaping and clean-up projects in this Frank Lloyd Wrigh
t -inspired landmark. Afterward\, check out our Environmental Exhibitor Fa
ir\, and an Electric Vehicles and eBike show. Children are also welcome!
First 150 to register for the landscapting and clean-up before March 15
will be provided with complementary lunch and t-shirt! \n\nHeron'\;s He
ad Park -- San Francisco\n\nRoll up those sleeves and help us and San Fran
cisco Recreation and Park Department with weeding\, mulching\, and by clea
n-up of Heron'\;s Head Park. We'\;ve also partnered with En2Action
and other organizations to provide an Eco Car Show\, Environmental Exhibit
or Fair\, and other opportunities. This is a family-friendly and dog-frien
dly (on leash) event. First 100 to register for the planting and bay clea
