Please join us in a day of celebration commemorating 80 Years' partnership between Rotary International and the United Nations, Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the War Memorial Veteran Building, San Francisco where the United Nations Charter was signed in 1945.
Rotary International was one of 42 organizations the United States invited to serve as consultants to its delegation at the San Francisco Conference where 49 Rotarians helped draft the UN Charter. During the last 80 years, 5 Rotarians served as presidents of the UN General Assembly as Rotary has continued to strength our partnership.
The event is to commemorate UN Charter's 80th anniversary, to celebrate Rotary's historic and ongoing relationship with UN, and to inspire renewed commitment to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
We are pleased to have Special Guest Speakers, Rotary International President, Francesco Arezzo, Rotary General Secretary, John Hewko, and others soon to be announced.
We are inviting Rotary and Rotaract volunteers, Senior UN Officials and Staff, Philanthropic and civil society organizations, civic leaders, Interactors, youth groups and students to join us.
