Great ideas deserve attention, and so District 5150 is giving clubs a chance to share theirs at the upcoming 7 Areas of Focus Project Showcase on November 19. If your club has done a project using District Designated Funds, whether it’s a district grant or a global project, completed or in progress, you’re welcome to put it on display at The Rotary Foundation Club DDF Service Project Showcase, this year’s version of the district’s annual event to support The Rotary Foundation.

Participating clubs will have an assigned place to display their projects, which should be on poster board mounted on easels, with members of the club on hand to explain the project and answer questions from members of other clubs, who might want to become co-sponsors or contribute DDF. Tables will be available on request. To reserve a space or find out more, please contact Joe Teresi at jtnia@comcast.net.

The event takes place from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 19, at the sparkling new Jonas Center at the College of Marin’s Indian Valley campus in Novato, and in addition to the project showcase, it will include updates on The Rotary Foundation, the Every Rotary Every Year (EREY) drawing, a Showcase Passport drawing, light refreshments and—of course—Rotary camaraderie. Be sure to make your donation to EREY and submit your raffle tickets—one for every $25 you donate—by November 12 so they’ll go into the drawing and give you a chance to win the grand prize, a $2,000 Visa Gift Card, or one of several smaller prizes.

Register for the event here. Admission is $35 for adults, plus you can register a second adult for free. Students are also free.
