Join us to protect our local environment

The first Earth Day was over 50 years ago. Since then, Rotary clubs around our world have worked hard to build awareness, inspire action, and plan service projects to protect our environment. With PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT being our newest AREA OF FOCUS, WE ARE CONTINUING TO TAKE ACTION... from beach cleanups, tree plantings, and plastic collection to complex projects like solar in the city and developing clean energy for our communities.

This year, we plan to do hands-on projects in the three counties within our District (Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo) on April 20th and May 5th with each project uniquely benefiting the environment in the respective county.  We welcome you to join us in one, two, or all three counties to help make a difference while building friendship!
