HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Welcome to the new Rotary year, 2022-2023. We’re all looking forward to new activities to serve our communities, build new collaborations, and enjoy fun and fellowship with our club members and their families.
Our Rotary International President Jennifer Jones, who just happens to be our first female President in the 117 years of our organization, chose her theme to be “Imagine Rotary.”
Imagine how we can Increase Our Impact by creating effective, lasting, and meaningful change.
Imagine how we can Expand Our Reach by becoming more inclusive, welcoming, and compassionate.
Imagine how we can Enhance Participant Engagement by giving them positive, fulfilling, and fun experiences.
And finally, imagine how we can Increase Our Ability to Adapt to this constantly changing world through openness, flexibility, and creativity.
President Jennifer shares her desire for us to use our imagination and turn our dreams into positive change. That’s one of the reasons why I chose our District’s 2022-2023 theme, “BE THE CHANGE”, which is short for the famous quote: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” It is a wonderful segue from our Rotary International theme to imagine what could be and then becoming the change that could make it happen.
Your new Club President and Board are ready to implement their plans, and we’ll be having many exciting and interactive events during the year to experience and assist you to be successful.
