Throughout the 2026–2027 Rotary year, District Governor YuHui Chen will highlight Rotary International and District awards that are currently accepting nominations or applications. Each month, we'll share award information, recognize past recipients from District 5150, and encourage clubs to nominate deserving Rotarians.
 
 
This month's featured award is the Sylvia Whitlock Leadership Award, which honors one Rotarian in the world each year who is actively advancing women in Rotary. No one from our District has yet won this award. Please nominate someone from District 5150.

Nominations still accepted for the Service Award for a Polio-Free World, which recognizes Rotarians who have made outstanding contributions to Rotary's polio eradication efforts.

Past District 5150 Recipients:

  • PDG Russ Ketron, Rotary Club of Novato — Regional Award (2015–2016)
  • PDG Jayne Hulbert, Rotary Club of Ignacio — Regional Award (2023–2024)
