Hello Fellow Rotarians,

February is Rotary’s month of Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution, and it offers a powerful reminder: peace isn’t something we wait for — it’s something we actively build.

At a time when our world feels increasingly divided, Rotary stands as a force for unity. Peacebuilding is not limited to negotiations or ceasefires; it happens every day through service, leadership, and compassion. Rotarians are peacebuilders through our work in all seven of Rotary’s areas of focus. When we provide access to clean water and sanitation, expand healthcare, support education, protect the environment, grow local economies, empower women and girls, and work toward a polio-free world, we address the root causes of conflict and help create lasting stability.

This is what Rotary does best — turning service into solutions and hope into action.

Now more than ever, the world needs effective peacebuilders.
The world needs you.

If you are looking for meaningful ways to lead, serve, and make a real difference, this is your invitation. Whether through a local project, a global partnership, or simply showing up with an open heart and a willingness to listen, every act of service contributes to a more peaceful world.

Peace doesn’t just happen — we build it together. Thank you for the ways you continue to lead with purpose, compassion, and courage.

In Rotary friendship and service,

Mitone Griffiths
