Hello Fellow Rotarians,
November is Rotary Foundation Month, a time to celebrate the heart of our service: The Rotary Foundation and the generosity of Rotarians like you.
Recently at the Zone Institute, our district was honored for its strong support of the Foundation. These recognitions reflect your kindness, your vision, and your commitment to service.
Your contributions truly make a difference. Through the Foundation, we fund life-changing projects both locally and globally. These aren’t just acts of service; they are acts of peace. When we support education, we’re not only opening doors to opportunity, we are also helping break cycles of poverty, reduce inequality and build stronger, more peaceful communities. When we provide clean water, sanitation, or leadership training, we address root causes of conflict and instability. Every project becomes a piece of peacebuilding, helping to create environments where lasting peace is possible.
One inspiring example is the project providing education to tribal girls in rural India, started by Bobba Venkatadri of the Rotary Club of Burlingame and Hillsborough. The project was featured in Rotary magazine and shows how your giving leads directly to hope, change, and peace.
As we mark this month, let’s continue to Unite for Good and remember- Every Piece Matters. Every dollar, every project, every act of kindness adds up to a world that’s more peaceful, more hopeful, and more connected.
So, let’s keep the momentum going! Please continue to support The Rotary Foundation, and together we’ll keep building the kind of world we all imagine, one project, one community, one gift at a time.
With gratitude,
Mitone
