Rotary District 5150 proudly recognizes Robin Azevedo of the Rotary Club of San Francisco as our Rotarian of the Month for January 2026.
A dedicated Rotarian for more than 21 years, Robin has consistently demonstrated extraordinary leadership, generosity, and commitment to Service Above Self. Throughout her Rotary journey, she has served on both the Rotary Club of San Francisco Board and the San Francisco Rotary Foundation (SFRF) Board, and she currently serves as Vice President of the club and the Foundation.
Robin’s unwavering support of Rotary is reflected in her recognition as a Paul Harris Fellow, Major Donor, and member of the Paul Harris Society. She is known throughout the club as the first to step forward whenever there is a need—whether that means contributing volunteer hours, providing financial support, or quietly ensuring a project succeeds behind the scenes. Her generosity exemplifies the very best of Rotary.
Among Robin’s many service initiatives, she leads the club’s Homeless Prenatal Program, which provides essential supplies and support to unhoused mothers. This compassionate project directly impacts one of the most vulnerable populations in the community, offering dignity, care, and hope to families in need.
In her role as Vice President of the San Francisco Rotary Foundation, Robin plays a key leadership role in stewarding approximately $200,000 annually to support 24 local and international service projects. These initiatives span a wide range of Rotary priorities, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, RYLA, Interact, Rotaract, Bike Build, Emergency Services Day, Youth Scholarships, Food Drives, the Salvation Army, Family House, Scouting programs, Alzheimer’s support, and nine international projects.
Robin’s leadership, generosity, and deep commitment to Rotary service have made a lasting impact on the Rotary Club of San Francisco and communities both locally and globally.
Rotary District 5150 is proud to honor Robin Azevedo as Rotarian of the Month for January 2026 for her exceptional service, philanthropic leadership, and unwavering dedication to Rotary’s mission.
