April 2019 Rotarian of the Month:
Gityjoon Hebel of the San Francisco Greater Mission Rotary Club

Gityjoon Hebel has been a member of the San Francisco Greater Mission Rotary Club for nearly 25 years having joined at the invitation of her husband, Mike.  By profession Gityjoon is involved in all aspects of property management. She was previously the owner of a highly successful store on San Francisco’s Union Street bearing her name – Gityjoons, which carried arts and antiques from 50 countries with a focus on objects relating to the world’s enduring spiritual traditions.
 
She has been very active in the her club’s community service, vocational service, and international service. Her heart-felt passions are for children and mothers in need, providing of nourishing food for the hungry, and the elimination of human trafficking. For Gityjoon, financial support of our Rotary Foundation is at the top of her charitable gifting. She was recently inducted into the Arch Klumph Society.  She is also has been awarded a golden gate membership in the White Hat Society. She has provided leadership within the Greater Mission Rotary club encouraging all its members to financially participate and support our Rotary Foundation.
Her pet multi-poo (Koochie) is an honorary member of the club and is a member of the Paul Harris Society. With Gityjoon’s help Koochie has an excellent attendance record.
