Around the World: Flight to End Polio

Please join us on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Rotary Terrace in South San Francisco for a presentation by Peter Teahen and John Ockenfels documenting their around-the-world flight to END Polio. Both Peter and John have received Rotary’s highest individual honor, The Service Above Self Award in 2023 for their flight, as well as many other contributions they have made to help End Polio.  Peter hails from the Cedar Rapids West Rotary Club and John from Iowa City, Iowa AM Rotary Club.  This will be an inspirational evening with a light meal and socializing at 5:30pm and the presentation starting at 6:00pm. 

 

This will be an ‘in person’ event only, and registration is required.  There is no charge to attend but donations to help End Polio are always welcome at either FlightToEndPolio.com or https://my.rotary.org/en/donate.  In addition one can choose to become a member of the PolioPlus Society with a commitment of only $100 per year.
