Peace is a verb, not a noun. It’s more than just the absence of war or violence - it’s building dynamic environments where people can grow, prosper and thrive. Sounds like Rotary, right?

This 3-hour interactive workshop will inspire and reignite your Rotary service by introducing you to the concepts of positive peace, and the many tools and resources available to build peaceful communities, neighborhoods, organizations and other environments where people can thrive.

Moderated by PDG Suzanne Bragdon of D5160 and Zone 27 Peacebuilder coordinator, Traci Perry, D5160 Peace Committee Chair, and Michelle Clein, D5150 Peace Programs coordinator, you will learn about:

  • The difference between positive peace and negative peace
  • The 8-Pillars of Positive Peace and how to apply them to your club projects
  • The Rotary Positive Peace Academy and how you can become a Peacebuilder for your club
  • Networking with other Rotarians who have a passion for peace

ALL ARE INVITED:  Anyone, including non-Rotarians, who is interested in learning practical skills to promote peace in their communities.

WHEN:  Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 8:30 am to 12noon
