Happy March everyone!
Each year we celebrate our incoming club leadership, and to kick this off, our President Elects attend the annual President Elect Training Seminars (PETS) in March. Our District Governor Elect, Gary Chow, led his team at this training event early this month, and it was the first time in 2 yrs that the event was held in person. The energy and excitement was palpable, and I am thrilled that these leaders will take our clubs and our District forward in this upcoming Rotary Year.
We have an opportunity to celebrate with our incoming club leaders at our Learning and Leadership Development District Assembly on March 26. This will be our first in person District Assembly in 2 years so we hope you will join us to celebrate our incoming Presidents and participate in learning opportunities. Register for our assembly and join us in our celebration.
In addition, as part of our commitment to protecting our environment, we are hosting our multi-county Rotary Day of Service event on April 9! Roll up your sleeves and help with our community clean up in one of three counties: Marin, San Francisco, or San Mateo. Directly following our community service project, check out the environmental fair and electric vehicle event for more information on how we can support our environment. This event is open to the public, so invite your family and friends, and let’s showcase our organization in our communities! Click here to register: sign-up early for a chance to secure a complementary event t-shirt and lunch (while supplies last).
Finally, everyone should have received the recent update regarding the Ukraine crisis. When we receive other information, we will send a note out to everyone. As we strive for peace in our world, I want to thank all of you for your dedication and commitment to peace in our communities. Our organization has made peace the cornerstone of our global mission, and it is up to all of us to lead the way in this effort.
Thank you all for your dedication to peace, and I look forward to seeing you soon!
